The Plush Loop ("we," "us") is a small handmade handbag business. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need, and we never sell your data.
Information we collect
- When you join our list: your email address.
- Automatically with a signup (to prevent spam and understand where interest comes from): the date and time, the page that referred you, your browser/device information, your IP address, and an approximate location (city, region, country).
- When you contact us or place an order: the details you send us (such as your name, shipping address, and what you'd like to order).
How we use it
- To let you know when we launch and to share new pieces and custom-order availability.
- To process and ship any orders you place.
- To keep the site secure and reduce spam signups.
How your information is shared
We do not sell or rent your information. We use a few trusted services to run the site:
- Google — signups are stored in a private Google Sheet via Google Apps Script.
- ipwho.is — provides the approximate location lookup at signup.
- Cloudflare — hosts the website, provides secure (HTTPS) connections, and gives us privacy-friendly, cookieless visit analytics (aggregate counts only — no personal tracking or cross-site profiling).
- Payment provider — when checkout is live, payments are processed securely by a trusted provider (such as Stripe or PayPal). Your full card details are entered on their secure page and are never seen or stored by us.
Cookies & local storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store a copy of your email locally as a backup if a signup doesn't send the first time — this stays on your device.
Keeping your information & your choices
We keep signup information only as long as needed to contact you about the shop. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information at any time — just email us and we'll take care of it. To stop hearing from us, let us know and we'll remove you from the list.
